Stu Crompton: from bricklayer to game designer
Twenty-two years on the tools, a stage training, and one small pig.
I was a bricklayer for 22 years. In 2016 I trained as an actor at ALRA North, working in theatre, short films, adverts and radio. Now I've moved into game design, using the latest tools.
Pipp: Long Way Home is written, directed and voiced by me. The story, the characters and the design are mine, and every voice you hear is me in the booth, pigs and villains alike.
A building site turns out to be good training. You learn to plan the job, stick at it, and take pride in the bit nobody else will notice.
